As a typical Spaniard, Sara moved to Scotland straight after school to improve her English. Later, life took her to the Netherlands, where she used her Master’s degree in ELE to teach her native language at the University of Utrecht for almost 4 years. She is always delighted to see her students’ interest in her culture, and she also enjoys watching her students begin to make the connections between the tricky Spanish verb tenses. What she loves about her mother tongue is its idiomatic variety and she also likes to observe what Spanish has in common with other languages.
